SEOUL, Nov 1 — South Korean singer and actor Ok Taecyeon from 2PM will marry his longtime girlfriend next spring, his management agency 51K confirmed today.
As reported by Soompi, the announcement followed earlier speculation about their engagement after Taecyeon was seen proposing in Paris earlier this year.
“Actor Ok Taecyeon has promised to spend the rest of his life with the partner whom he has been dating for a long time,” the agency said in a statement.
“The wedding will be held privately at a location in Seoul next spring, with only close friends, family, and relatives in attendance.
“As Taecyeon’s spouse-to-be is not a celebrity, we ask for your generous understanding in regards to the fact that we will not be revealing further details,” it added.
According to Soompi, Taecyeon will continue his work in acting and other projects after marriage.
Taecyeon made his debut with 2PM in 2008 and has since built a successful career in acting as well, starring in dramas including Vincenzo and most recently, The First Night with the Duke.
