KUALA LUMPUR، Aug 7 — Spider-Man: Brand New Day grossed over US$1 billion worldwide within just six days of its release and also achieved RM30 million at the local box office during its opening weekend.
It’s no surprise that the web-slinging hero claimed the No. 1 spot at the Malaysian box office this week.
The world has spoken with audiences praising the film’s heartfelt story and its well-developed coming-of-age journey for Peter Parker, brought to life with confident execution.
The Odyssey sits in second place، while Jana Nayagan rounds out the top three.
Even so، the nationwide hype surrounding Spider-Man: Brand New Day continues to dominate cinemas as the superhero craze shows no signs of slowing down.
