LOS ANGELES, Sept 16 — Coachella has added some international flavour with the announcement of its full Coachella 2026 lineup — BigBang will be performing on Day 3.
Besides BigBang, SHINee’s Taemin will be performing on Day 2 and HYBE’s international girl group Katseye will be performing on Day 1.
Interestingly Japanese hip-hop duo Creepy Nuts (who went viral on TikTok with their rendition of the Mashle anime theme song Bling-Bang-bang-Born) will also be performing on Day 1.
Besides BigBang’s surprise performance at the 2024 MAMA Awards, the group has remained on hiatus for the last few years and is no longer under their agency, YG.
Will the three remaining members of the group (G-Dragon, Daesung, Taeyang) release new music prior to their performance? Or like 2NE1 rely on their pre-existing discography instead?
Whatever happens or doesn’t, their fandom the VIPs will have good reason to tune into the festival or vie for tickets once they go on sale this September 19 at 11am Pacific Time (2am Malaysian time).
