GENTING HIGHLANDS, Sept 11 — Hong Kong pop group Grasshopper will return to Malaysia this year with their “Re: Grasshopper Concert Tour 2025”, scheduled for December 27 at the Arena of Stars, Resorts World Genting.
According to a press statement from Resorts World Genting, the show will mark the trio’s comeback in Malaysia after their Asia tour was postponed last year when member Remus Choy underwent brain surgery.
Following his recovery, the group is set to perform their signature hits alongside new material.
“It’s about Recover, Restart, Reunion, and Rearrange. After recovering of Remus, we are restarting this journey, reuniting with fans across Asia, and rearranging our classics to bring a brand-new experience,” said Calvin Choy.
The concert will feature well-known tracks such as Love Trap, Half a Heart, Forget Love Samba, and Baby, I’m Sorry.
Fans can also expect fresh performances, including a new song written by Remus titled Old but Spicy.
Grasshopper, which debuted 40 years ago, remains one of the most enduring groups in the Mandopop scene.
Tickets will be available for Genting Rewards Card Gold members and above from September 12 at 12pm, with public sales starting on September 17 at 3pm.
Prices range from RM268 to RM868, with members eligible for discounts on selected categories.
