SEOUL, May 18 — South Korean actor Lee Jae-wook has begun his mandatory military service, entering a training centre today to fulfil his national duty.
According to ChosunBiz, there would be no official send off event, with the actor quietly reporting for enlistment.
On May 17, Lee shared several photos with fans, writing: “I will return healthy.”
The images showed him sporting a freshly shaved head.
Lee, best known for his roles in Extraordinary You and Alchemy of Souls, will undergo basic training before serving in the army.
