KUALA LUMPUR, May 22 — Tarung: Unforgiven, which has passed the RM15 million mark, continues its successful run by holding on to the No. 1 spot at the local box office.

Tamil-language film Karuppu, starring acclaimed Indian actor Suriya, is enjoying similar success in Malaysia and has now climbed to second place.

Adding Libang Libu and Mother Bhumi to the mix, a total of three local films have made the Malaysian box office chart this week.

Local content is also performing strongly on streaming platforms, from Good Boys Go to Heaven reaching No. 1 on Netflix, while Aku Pilih Pelangi has remained at the top of Viu for several weeks.

Cinema line-ups are packed, alongside streaming platforms that include Disney+.
