Meet Saint Satine: HYBE and Geffen’s new global girl group unveiled with final member Sakura (VIDEO)

SEOUL, May 14 — HYBE and Geffen Records have confirmed the final member of their new global girl group Saint Satine, with Sakura officially joining the four-member lineup.

According to allkpop.com, HYBE Labels announced on May 13 that Sakura was selected as the last member of the group following the conclusion of the audition programme World Scout The Final Piece, which aired on Japanese streaming platform Abema.

The final selection was revealed in episode 12 of the programme, officially completing the formation of Saint Satine as a four-member group.

Sakura, a Japanese trainee, secured the final spot after competing in what was described as a highly competitive selection process reportedly involving a 14,000-to-1 ratio.

The group’s lineup now includes Emily from the United States, Lexie from Sweden and Samara from Brazil, all of whom previously appeared in the audition project The Debut: Dream Academy, the same initiative that formed Katseye.

In an emotional statement, Sakura said she had long aspired to perform on a global stage.

“I wanted to shine on the world stage. I’m so grateful to have achieved my dream,” she said, becoming tearful during the announcement.

Saint Satine is now preparing for its official debut, with HYBE and Geffen Records positioning the group for the global music market as part of their ongoing international expansion strategy.
