KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 31 — For decades, the bumbling yet beloved Mr Bean, brought to life by the legendary Rowan Atkinson, has been a global icon of comedy.
To celebrate the character’s 35th anniversary, Malaysian fans can now step directly into his wonderfully eccentric world at the Mr Bean Experience, launching at ACO Lab, Pavilion Bukit Jalil, from this Nov 1 to Feb 1, 2026.
Despite the original live-action series consisting of only 15 episodes, Mr Bean’s mischievous antics and unforgettable facial expressions left a lasting mark on generations of Malaysians, becoming a television staple on channels like NTV7 and TV3.
This interactive exhibition aims to capture that cherished nostalgia.
The experience features eight themed photo zones and a variety of fun-filled activations designed to immerse visitors in the show’s most memorable moments.
Fans can relive iconic scenes, such as the disastrous haircut from Hair by Mr Bean of London, the art class still life from Back to School Mr Bean, and the hilarious washing machine mishap from Tee Off, Mr Bean.
Other activities include a mini-golf challenge and a chance to hang a wish on a special Mr Bean Christmas Tree.
Beyond the photo zones, the exhibition includes the Mr Bean Animated Café, serving a playful menu of food and beverages inspired by the animated series. Visitors will also receive a special activity card with a 35th-anniversary souvenir to take home as a keepsake.
No celebration would be complete without official memorabilia. A dedicated merchandise store will offer a range of exclusive Mr Bean products, allowing fans to take home a piece of their childhood.
Created by Atkinson and Richard Curtis, the show has become a true global phenomenon, and while it may no longer air as regularly on television, its legacy continues to thrive on platforms like YouTube, where it is still enjoyed by millions in Malaysia and around the world.
