KUALA LUMPUR, May 22 — As announced back in January, BTS is coming to Kuala Lumpur this December for a two-day show on December 12 and 13 (Saturday and Sunday).
The Malaysia stop has now been confirmed as part of the BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’, with the concerts set to take place at TM National Stadium.
This tour will mark BTS’s first headline tour together since their landmark PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE tour, which included 12 sold-out shows across Seoul, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas.
The ARIRANG tour has already delivered several historic milestones, including the first-ever headline K-pop concerts at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
Demand for the tour has been unprecedented with the band selling out all 41 stadium dates across North America, Europe, and the United Kingdom, moving nearly 2.4 million tickets.
BTS, consisting of RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook, has captured the hearts of millions of fans globally since debuting in June 2013.
Recognised for their authentic, self-produced music, and top-tier performances, the band’s deep connection with fans has always remained strong through the years.
For Malaysians, it would mark their first concert in Malaysia since 2015, when they last appeared in the country during their early Red Bullet tour years.
The upcoming two-day shows will feature an immersive 360-degree, in-the-round stage design, placing fans at the centre of the experience while expanding the overall stadium capacity.
The general on-sale will begin Friday, June 5, at 11am via https://www.golive-asia.com/home
