KUALA LUMPUR, June 24 — Malaysians, get ready to keep on rollin’ as iconic nu-metal outfit Limp Bizkit head to Kuala Lumpur for their only Asia show this year.
Organised by Hitman Solutions, Limp Bizkit Live in Malaysia will take place on December 9 at the National Hockey Stadium in Bukit Jalil.
Not only will it mark the band’s long-awaited Malaysian debut since forming in 1994, but it will also be their sole appearance in Asia this year, making Kuala Lumpur the exclusive destination for fans across the continent.
The announcement follows a series of teasers posted by Hitman Solutions on social media earlier this week.
“With KL confirmed as their only stop in Asia this year, this show becomes even more special.
“We are proud to make Malaysia the destination for fans across Asia to come together and witness a truly iconic band live on stage,” said Hitman Solutions head of special projects Keeran D.
Meanwhile, Hitman Solutions founder Rohit Rampal said the concert marks a major milestone not only for the company but also for rock and alternative music fans across the region, noting that Limp Bizkit has helped shape the sound and culture of modern rock for more than three decades.
In a video shared on Instagram, Rohit was also seen presenting Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst with a miniature Royal Selangor keris as a token of appreciation.
Formed in Jacksonville, Florida, Limp Bizkit rose to global prominence in the late 1990s and early 2000s, helping define the nu-metal movement through their blend of hard rock, hip-hop and alternative influences.
The band is best known for head-banging anthems such as Rollin’, Nookie and My Way. They made a surprise comeback in 2021 with the release of Still Sucks, their first new album in more than a decade.
Over the years, the group has headlined some of the world’s biggest festivals, including Rock am Ring, Lollapalooza and the infamous Woodstock ‘99.
Tickets for Limp Bizkit Live in Malaysia go on sale from noon on June 30, with prices ranging from RM398 to RM786.
