KUALA LUMPUR, May 22 — Just months after their last appearance in Malaysia, legendary Cantopop/Mandopop trio Grasshopper — Calvin Choy, Edmond So and Remus Choy — are set to return for another concert in August.
Following the announcement of the GRASSHOPPER THREE IN LOVE CONCERT 2026 at Unifi Arena Bukit Jalil on August 29 (Saturday, 8pm), tickets were snapped up quickly, with the show selling out in a short period of time.
A second show has now been added on August 30 (Sunday) to meet overwhelming demand.
The newly added date will give more fans the chance to join Grasshopper’s anniversary celebration and revisit the group’s biggest hits.
The trio continues to enjoy a strong following in Malaysia, as seen during their performance at Arena of Stars last December, which drew a crowd close to the venue’s 5,000-seat capacity.
Formed in 1985, Grasshopper are regarded as pioneers of the Hong Kong boy band scene and remain widely popular across Asia.
The group, long associated with Hong Kong icon Anita Mui during its early rise, continues to maintain a strong presence in the region, with enduring support from Malaysian fans.
